Archiproducts Design Awards 2024

Double recognition for Gallotti&Radice, which won the prestigious Archiproducts Design Award 2024 in the‘Furniture “ category with H20, a small armchair designed by Studiopepe, and with Re-Verre Table, a table designed by Federica Biasi, the latter of which was awarded the ”Sustainability’ prize.

H2O - THE ESSENCE OF SHAPE

H2O is a chair that conveys elegance and functionality, with soft, enveloping shapes that embrace space. A distinctive hole in the backrest, together with the graphic trace of an ‘H’ created by the lines of the seat and armrests, reveals the name of the project in a subtle but unmistakable way. Inspired by the purity of water, the chair becomes a symbol of essentiality, where form and function come together in perfect balance. The circular void, delicately set at mid-height, and the semi-oval backrest shell not only create a memorable aesthetic, but are designed to provide a seat that invites comfort without sacrificing style and character.

RE-VERRE TABLE - THE NEW LIFE OF GLASS

The Re-Verre collection, the result of Federica Biasi's creative vision, bridges the gap between design and environmental responsibility. From the continuous research on glass, a material that has always been part of the company's DNA, comes the desire to give a second life to the residues of its processing. The glass powder, precious and light, is transformed and becomes the very soul of Re-Verre. This alchemy of elements, which reworks glass into new and surprising shapes, gives life to products that are symbols of a sustainability that does not sacrifice elegance. Each piece is a tribute to the cycle of matter, where each fragment has a new meaning, a new opportunity, a new story to tell.

The winners were honoured during an evening event on Thursday, 14th November at Superstudio Più in the Tortona area of Milan. A special event in which we had the pleasure of participating together with our winning designers!
