The poetic soul of the Little Prince comes to life inside Paolo Stella's Milanese home

‘Reach for the Stella’, the winning project of the ninth chapter of Reach for the Stella, is now a reality in the home of influencer Paolo Stella. This year, the initiative involved the students of the final year of the First Level Academic Diploma course in Interior Design at the IED Milan. A unique opportunity to give space to the new generation of designers and bring them closer to the world of design in a concrete and practical way. The students had the opportunity to participate in a stimulating creative process and to confront themselves with the world of work, realising innovative and high-impact projects. The talented students Ilinca Moisă, from Kazakhstan, Zhazira Akhmet, from Poland, and Laura Tavera, from Romania, came out on top and won the realisation of their project, which denotes a strong international imprint, also rewarded because it succeeded in synergistically combining communication strategy and design, carrying out both aspects with great mastery. A real showcase for the young designers, who had the opportunity to express their creativity and be recognised as true professionals in the sector.

The rooms of the house have been completely remodelled, transforming not only the spaces but also the way they are experienced. Every nook and cranny has acquired a new perspective, narrating an experience that highlights Stella's joyful and colourful soul, using furnishings with delicate tones and soft shapes, but also bolder and more irreverent elements that leave a mark of personality. In the living area, the Selce coffee table by Studiopepe stands out next to the Audrey armchairs by Massimo Castagna, while the Monete coffee tables, also bearing the signature of Massimo Castagna, present in both the lacquered and hand-burnished brass versions, complete the room with elegance. The H2O chairs by Studiopepe further enrich the space, making each corner unique and in perfect harmony with the design of the house. The project also continued in Via Durini in the Salvioni Design Solutions shop windows, which were set up reproducing the ‘Reach for the Stella’ concept. This choice allowed not only to continue the storytelling and promotion of the initiative, but also contributed to enrich the visual and sensorial experience, giving a further dimension to the project work. A springboard in a perfect setting, the beating heart of the Milanese design world. A precious opportunity to give further visibility to the project, allowing the public to come into direct contact with its essence.
